About Ronnie
The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Outreach Program was established in memory of Ronnie Lippin. Philanthropic donations and the desire of the Lippin family to assist others in overcoming difficulties similar to those they experienced have made it possible to turn a personal loss and tragedy into support for others living with cancer. Initial funding was provided by Ronnie's husband Dick Lippin, daughter Alexandra Lippin, and friends and colleagues of the Lippin family.
Ronnie Lippin was born in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Sarah Lawrence College, entering at the age of 16 and furthered her studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.
Upon graduating from college Ronnie began her career as a film critic at Parents Magazine. Afterward, Lippin worked in the New York film and stage industry and migrated to music when she moved to Los Angeles with her husband, Dick Lippin. She worked for MCA Records, with Elton John's Rocket Records, and with RSO Records, where she became a top publicist.
877-752-2120In 1989, she joined The Lippin Group, a marketing and public relations firm founded by her husband. Ronnie Lippin was a veteran publicist and manager who helped shape the careers of rock stars Eric Clapton, Brian Wilson, Prince and many more.
She died from a rare form of breast cancer. At the time of her death, she was 59 years old and president of The Lippin Group.
